McCall Jackson

Welcome to my world of writing! I’m a writer and editor based in the Atlanta area and a current editorial assistant with an independent publisher. I strive to helping authors put their visions on the page. Also, I’m starting to work in digital marketing which includes, content planning, SEO optimization, and audience engagement techniques to increase traffic and visibility . Here are some of my recent projects:

  • I assisted in copy editing, developmental editing, and proofreading the debut memoir of author NorAfrica Lee, Keep Going and Growing. Working closely with author NorAfrica Lee, I reviewed her manuscript to ensure its accuracy, clarity, and coherence.

    I copy editing, proofread, and meet with Author Joseph Wheeler, a civil rights activist and former leader within the NAACP, as part of the publication team to assist him in launching his memoir, On the Outside Looking In.

Examples of my work

In this self-written and self-edited example, I am giving myself developmental editing notes on my project, Emma. This is just one example the services I offer which include consultations, writing, editing, and proofreading.
